Paris, considered as the most romantic place in the world, is also the home of the most popular restaurants serving the tastiest dishes. As you and your loved one fill each other with love, filling your bellies with food as well would not be such a bad idea. Here are the most distinguished restaurants in Paris.

Le Maurice
Located right in the heart of the city, Le Maurice is the epitome of a fancy and glamorous French restaurantwith its mosaic floors, crystal chandeliers, and heavy damask curtains. It might have gone through some renovations but its building still has the remnants of the old French designs that it once carried. It is located right across the celebrated Tuleries gardens so diners can bathe their eyes on its magnificent views.

Chef Yannick Alleno has mastered the art of Escoffer vintage culinary techniques that gourmands will surely enjoy. Some of his very popular dishes include the crispy green ravioli with a fricassee of snails and wild garlic along with the spit-roasted red-wine marinated pigeon with red cabbage and apple juice that will surely provide anyone a memorable dining experience.

L’Astrance
Dining in an expensive restaurant provides you with more than the experience of eating in such a popular food joint. You are also paying for good food and good service. L’Astrance is a three-star restaurant that is made very popular because of the French haute cuisine of Chef Pascal Barbot. Because it is always packed with patrons looking for tasty dishes, snagging a table can be very difficult.

Chef Barbot creates the healthiest recipes that are made up of the freshest vegetables, fruits, and herbs. His brilliant mind and cooking techniques has enabled him to come up with the most imaginative food creations that proved to be a big hit to the restaurant’s clients.

Huitrerie Regis
The exterior of the Huitrerie Regis might not look as elegant as all the other popular restaurants in the city but this bistro is the prime example of the adage that tells us to not judge a book by its cover. This restaurant should be a haven for seafood lovers as they serve the freshest and tastiest oysters straight from France’s Marennes-Oléron region on the Atlantic coast. Clams, prawns, and sea urchins may also be part of the menu if they are available.

Maceo
While diners are typically treated with meat options in fancy restaurants; Maceo is one of those few that give utmost importance to vegetablesdishes. Chef Theirry Bourbonnais has made his restaurant the perfect go-to for people who are avoiding meat. He has perfected the art of incorporating vegetables in dishes in a way that menu theme changes on a regular interval. This keeps diners guessing on what the bistro is offering for the day.

Spring
The best restaurants in Paris are not only run by Parisian chefs. The Spring Restaurant gives the locals and tourists alike a taste of American cuisine that has been given the necessary tweaks to better suit the taste buds of the Parisian people. Their Basque country trout with avocado and coriander flowers as well as their grilled New Caledonian prawns on a bed of shaved baby fennelaretwo of their biggest hits.

(Valentine's Day)
I can't write much about love stories as my experience is nil in the field. But I do love to hear love stories with happy endings, and my heart loses a beat and says, 'how romantic'. But when I hear stories with sad endings it says 'really pathetic'.

Most of the love stories never have happy endings because of many reasons... like girl's dad in 'bad guy's role', 'religion', 'imported guy', 'Love triangle or pentagon'...and so on.

Step 1: Both girl and boy madly in love

Due to some malfunctioning of both girl's and guy's hearts they will fall in love with each other. They count all the trees in the park, walk the roads holding each other’s hands, eat in restaurants and talk only about love, love and, yeah, love. Even if the guy has no money he will borrow from his friends and take his girl for an ice cream or a movie. He won't mind flicking a 500-rupee note from his dad’s wallet to gift a teddy with 'I love you' message for his girlfriend.

Picture
Step 2: Girl's parents not ready to accept her lover boy

Girl says, 'Sweetie, we can’t be together. I don’t want go against my parents. For my two years' love I can't betray my 22 years' love'.
Boy says, 'Don't say that. I can do anything for you... Give me some time to get a job and settle down'.
Girl says, 'Try to understand baby. Time is the thing which I don’t have. But remember this - I will always love you'.
Guy starts crying. Tup tup, the tears fall. He hugs her and says, 'Don’t leave me. Please sugar, I need you'.
Girl wipes his tears and says, 'Don’t cry baby' and then kisses...Humm..on his forehead.
Girl starts walking and guy stands there watching her disappearing figure.

Picture
Step 3: Girl gets married

Girl is all excited to marry a guy in the US. She sends invitation to her so-called ex-boyfriend. He sees the invitation, memorizes the venue and date and tears it and dumps it into the dustbin. Girl shops happily for her wedding while guy starts boozing. Guy forces his friends to listen to his 'love story with the sad ending' at least 10 times a day. Guy’s friends curse the girl and booze with the guy and console him with their own failed love affairs.

Picture
Step 4: Girl updates honeymoon pics in FB

Girl uploads her happily-smiling wedding pics in Facebook. She doesn't forget to upload her honeymoon pics too with title 'Me with my better half'. Guy sees the pics and says '&*%$#', his friends see the pics and say, 'looks like a big shot, lucky &*%$#'. Guy gets angry and says, 'dude mind your tongue'. Guy’s friends stare at each other.

Picture
Step 5: Girl and guy run into each other

Guy stares at her and girl tries to escape his piercing glance.
Guy says, 'How are you?'
Girl says, 'Good, and you?'
'Good. Do you love him?'
'Yes. He is a good man.'
'Are you happy?'
'Very much.'
Guy says to himself, '$#%^& played with my feelings and emotions and now enjoying with the imported guy'. He controls his anger and says, 'I am happy for you. I would go. See you.'
Girl stands there watching the guy's disappearing, Guy back.
Guy thinks, 'She looks like aunty, poor US guy.'

Picture
Step 6 (Last step): Guy gets married

Guy gets married and uploads wedding pics in FB. Girl feels jealous but still comments 'Congrats'. Guy’s wife sees the comment and says, 'Who is this woman?' Guy chuckles and says, 'One of my classmates, she is a big time loser.' Guy thinks, 'Good that I didn’t marry that selfish #$%&'.
If your love story has a happy ending then be happy. If you love story is similar to this, then it's time you move on.

Nevertheless, Happy Valentine's Day!

So Respect this Relationship B'coz this is the Gift of God….

Vaishno Devi Mandir (वैष्णोदेवी मन्दिर) is one of the holy Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti, located in the hills of Vaishno Devi, Jammu and Kashmir, India. In Hinduism, Temple  is one of the most visited pilgrimage centres in India. It is located on the Trikuta Mountain at a height of 5,300 ft. Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess.

The temple is near the town of Katra, in the Reasi district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the most revered places of worship in India. The shrine is at an altitude of 5200 feet and a distance of approximately 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from Katra.

Approximately 8 million pilgrims (yatris) visit the temple every year and it is the second most visited religious shrine in India, after Tirumala Venkateswara Temple.

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board maintains the shrine. A rail link from Udhampur to Katra is being built to facilitate pilgrimage. The nearest airport is Jammu Airport which has very high flight frequency. All leading domestic airlines have their services to Jammu Airport.

Significance

According to a Hindu, Ma Vaishno Devi was born in the south of India in the home of Ratnakar Sagar. Her worldly parents had remained childless for a long time. Ratnakar had promised, the night before the birth of the Divine child, that he would not interfere with whatever his child desired. Ma Vaishno Devi was called Trikuta as a child. Later She was called Vaishnavi because of Her taking birth from Lord Vishnu's lineage. When Trikuta was 9 years old, She sought her father's permission for doing penance on the seashore. Trikuta prayed to Lord Vishnu in the form of Rama. During Shree Rama's search for Sita, He reached the seashore along with His army. His eyes fell on this Divine Girl in deep meditation. Trikuta told Shree Rama that She had accepted Him as Her husband.

Shree Rama told Her that during this Incarnation He had vowed to be faithful to only Sita. However pleased with her devotion , Lord Rama gave her name Vaishnavi (devotee of Lord Rama (Maha Vishnu)and assured Her that in Kaliyuga He would manifest as Kalki and would marry Her.

In the meantime Shree Rama asked Trikuta to meditate in the cave found in the Trikuta Range of Manik Mountains, situated in Northern [[India].Lord Ram gave her a bow and arrows, army of monkeys and a lion for her protection, Ma decided to observe the 'Navratra' for the Victory of Shree Rama against Ravana. Hence one reads the Ramayana during the 9 days of Navratra, in remembrance of the above connection. Shree Rama promised that the whole world would sing Ma Vaishno Devi's praise. Lord Rama also said Trikuta was to become famous as Vaishno Devi and would become immortal forever. The abode of Maa Vaishno devi is attaining huge pilgrimage attraction due to Lord Rama's blessings to the goddess.

With the passage of time many more stories about the Mother Goddess emerged. One such story is about Shree-Dhar.

Shree-Dhar was an ardent devotee of Ma Vaishno Devi. He resided in a village called Hansali, 2 km away from the present Katra town. Once Ma appeared to him in the form of a young bewitching girl. The young girl asked the humble Pandit to hold a 'Bhandara'. (A feast to feed the mendicants and devotees) The Pandit set out to invite people from the village and near-by places. He also invited 'Bhairav Nath' a selfish tantrik. Bhairav Nath asked Shri-Dhar how he was planning to fulfil the requirements. He reminded him of the bad consequences in case of failure. As Panditji was lost in worry, the Divine girl appeared and told Him not to be despondent as everything had been arranged. She asked that over 360 devotees be seated in the small hut. True to Her word the Bhandara went smoothly with food and place to spare. Bhairav Nath admitted that the girl had supernatural powers and decided to test Her further. He followed the Divine girl to Trikuta Hills. For 9 months Bhairav Nath was searching for the mystic girl in the mountains, whom he believed was an incarnation of the Mother Goddess. While running away from Bhairav, Devi shot an arrow into the Earth from which water gushed out. The resultant river is known as Baanganga. It is believed that by taking a bath in Baanganga (Baan: Arrow), a believer of the Mother Goddess can wash away all his sins. The banks of the river, known as Charan Paduka, are marked by Devi's foot imprints, which remains intact till date. Vaishno Devi then took shelter in a cave known as Garbh Joon near Adhkawari where she meditated for 9 months attaining spiritual wisdom and powers. Her meditation was cut short when Bhairav located her. Vaishno Devi was then compelled to take the form of Maha Kali when Bhairav tried to kill her. The manifestation of the Mother Goddess took place at the mouth of the Holy cave at Darbar. The Goddess then beheaded Bhairav with such sheer force, that his skull fell at a place known as Bhairav Ghati, 2.5 km from the Holy Cave.jai mata di

In his dying moments, Bhairav pleaded for forgiveness. The Goddess knew that Bhairav's main intention in attacking her was to achieve salvation. She not only granted Bhairav liberation from the cycle of reincarnation, but also granted him a boon, whereby every devotee, in order to ensure completion of the pilgrimage, had to visit Bhairav Nath's temple near the Holy cave after the darshan of the Goddess.Meanwhile Vaishno Devi assumed the shape of a rock with three pindis (heads) and immersed herself into meditation forever.

Meanwhile, Pandit Shree-Dhar became impatient. He started to march towards Trikuta Mountain on the same path that he had witnessed in a dream. He ultimately reached the cave mouth. He made a daily routine of worshiping the 'Pindis' in several ways. His worship pleased the Goddess. She appeared in front of him and blessed him. Since that day, Shree-Dhar and his descendants have been worshiping the Goddess Mother Vaishno Devi.

The way to Bhavan is steep and requires a long walk uphill. Alternatively ponies and palanquins are also available. Helicopter service can also be taken for a large part of the trip. The Trust offers comfortable stay for pilgrims.

Types of Computers

Computers come in a variety of types designed for different purposes, with different capabilities and costs.

Microcomputers
microcomputer is a computer that has a microprocessor chip as its CPU. They are often called personal computers because they are designed to be used by one person at a time. Personal computers are typically used at home, at school, or at a business. Popular uses for microcomputers include word processing, surfing the web, sending and receiving e-mail, spreadsheet calculations, database management, editing photographs, creating graphics, and playing music or games.
Personal computers come in two major varieties, desktop computers and laptop computers:

Desktop computers are larger and not meant to be portable. They usually sit in one place on a desk or table and are plugged into a wall outlet for power. The case of the computer holds the motherboard, drives, power supply, and expansion cards. This case may lay flat on the desk, or it may be a tower that stands vertically (on the desk or under it). The computer usually has a separate monitor (either a CRT or LCD) although some designs have a display built into the case. A separate keyboard and mouse allow the user to input data and commands.

Laptop or notebook computers are small and lightweight enough to be carried around with the user. They run on battery power, but can also be plugged into a wall outlet. They typically have a built-in LCD display that folds down to protect the display when the computer is carried around. They also feature a built-in keyboard and some kind of built-in pointing device (such as a touch pad).

While some laptops are less powerful than typical desktop machines, this is not true in all cases. Laptops, however, cost more than desktop units of equivalent processing power because the smaller components needed to build laptops are more expensive.

Computer types

Since the invention of computers from first generation and fourth generation computers, they have been classified according to their types and how they Operate that is input, process and output information. Below you will get a brief discussion on various types of Computers we have Computer types can be divided into 3 categories according to electronic nature. Types of computers are classified according to how a particular Computer functions. These computer types are
  • Analogue Computer
  • Digital Computer
  • Hybrid Computer
Analogue Type Computer
Picture
Analogue Computer
Analogue types of Computer uses what is known as analogue signals that are represented by a continuous set of varying voltages and are used in scientific research centers?, hospitals and flight centers. With analogue types of computer no values are represented by physical measurable quantities e.g. voltages. Analogue computer types program arithmetic and logical operations by measuring physical changes i.e. temperatures or pressure.

Picture
Digital Computer
Digital Type Computer

With these types of computers operation are on electrical input that can attain two inputs, states of ON=1 and state of OFF = 0. With digital type of computers data is represented by digital of 0 and 1 or off state and on state. Digital computer type recognizes data by counting discrete signal of (0 0r 1), they are high speed programmable; they compute values and stores results. After looking at the Digital computer type and how it functions will move to the third computer type as mentioned above.

Picture
Hybrid Computer
Hybrid Type Computer

Hybrid computer types are very unique, in the sense that they combined both analogue and digital features and operations. With Hybrid computers operate by using digital to analogue convertor and analogue to digital convertor. By linking the two types of computer above you come up with this new computer type called Hybrid.I hope this article on computer types gives you a basic foundation of how computers are classified and how they operate. Next article will focuses on computer sizes definition and characteristics, for more on Computer resources and related articles check out Computer Resource and if you found information relevant please help share these to as many people as possible whom you think would benefit from them.

The Types of computers range from the Hybrid to the Analog types. The computers you come across in the daily course of your day range from laptops, palmtops and towers, to desktop computers, to name a few. But the very word “computers” reminds one of the desktop computers used in offices or homes. Different categories of computes have been devised in keeping with our varied needs.
The Types Of Computers: Analog and Hybrid (classification based on operational principle)
  • Analog Computers: The analog computer is almost an extinct type of computer these days. It is different from a digital computer in respect that it can perform numerous mathematical operations simultaneously. It is also unique in terms of operation as it utilizes continuous variables for the purpose of mathematical computation. It utilizes mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical energy or operation.
  • Hybrid computers: These types of computers are, as the name suggests, a combination of both Analog and Digital computers. The Digital computers which work on the principle of binary digit system of “0” and “1” can give very precise results. But the problem is that they are too slow and incapable of large scale mathematical operation. In the hybrid types of computers the Digital counterparts convert the analog signals to perform Robotics and Process control.
1. The Mainframe Computer – These are computers used by large organizations like meteorological surveys and statistical institutes for performing bulk mathematical computations. They are core computers which are used for desktop functions of over one hundred people simultaneously.
2. The Microcomputer – These are the most frequently used computers better known by the name of “Personal computers”. This is the type of computer meant for public use. Other than Desktop Computer the choice ranges as follows:
  • Personal Digital Computer
  • Tablet PC
  • Towers
  • Work Stations
  • Laptops
  • Hand Held Computer
3. The Mini computer – Mini computers like the mainframe computers are used by business organization. The difference being that it can support the simultaneous working of up to 100 users and is usually maintained in business organizations for the maintenance of accounts and finances.

Yet another category of computer is the Super Computers. It is somewhat similar to mainframe computers and is used in economic forecasts and engineering designs. Today life without computers is inconceivable. Usage of different types of computers has made life both smooth and fast paced.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Analog Computers

The advantage of an analog computer is that it can simultaneously find solutions to several mathematical problems and that too while being precise unlike the digital computer. But it is not free of drawbacks. Unlike the digital computer it lacks speed of calculation. There are other functional problems which mar the efficiency of analog systems. Of these, the problems of non-linearties, temperature co-efficient, parasitic effects and noise floor are the main problems so to say.
